Missing My Daddy
Wow! My heart is heavy. Its been pretty tough emotionally during Thanksgiving without him. I really miss him today!!!
Pastor G: I know the words "it will get better" don't mean a .... thing to you right now....and that's okay although it is important that you surround yourself with the people who sincerely love you enough to let you work through this on your own terms and are understanding to the pain you are experiencing. Those individuals will bear and share in this experience of your valley. Satan will attempt to utilize this period to siff you and destroy your ministry (for he knows you have an extraordinary gift) but what God has ordain he has the power to maintain, even in this time. Let those people insulate you with prayer and allow you to express those human feelings needed to see your way through this. Needless to say, you will have to depend upon God to show you who those people are (and he will)and then you have to trust them to pray you through. You will soon find in time that you will have the strength to have that conversation with God, (that you may to this point have been avoiding) and actually be ready to listen to what he has to say. God would not bring you to it, if he was not going to help you get through it. The arms of flesh (friends, family and loved ones) can only do so much but God is there, during these tough times....and they do appear to be tough... to carry you through this dark dark valley. Don't stumble around too long on your own battling this intense bout with pain and disappointment....I pray that you will gain the strength to let him pick you up and carry you across this rough terain. Hang on, help is already there.
