Day 16 Finding a Partner

To many church congregations just sit and get fat on the teaching of the Word. We were supposed to be doers of the Word as well. Pastor Jack Hayford says, "One of the hardest things about being a pastor is getting sheep to move. The sheep need to get up and go someplace, but sheep don't like to move, they like to eat. The problem is if the sheep keep eating in the same place and don't move, they eventually get down to just stubble. We all learned quickly that we were expected to grow. God accepted us the way we were, but He certainly doesn't leave us that way. We are asked to keep growing, going and stretched. All the time! In order to please our heavenly Father we must grow in the area of prayer. Praying for each other makes God smile.
